The hospital is located in a Gothic Revival palace from the beginning of the 20th Century (1910), which previously belonged to Bernhard zur Lippe-Biesterfeld, a German aristocrat and husband of Queen Juliana of the Netherlands, father of Queen Beatrix. Today, the palace serves as a rehabilitation hospital for children aged from 3 to 15 and suffering from respiratory conditions and allergies.
