Monument of the insurgents from the Greater Poland uprising

The monument, designed by Jan Maria Jakób, was made from the elements of a dismantled monument commemorating the victory of Prussia over France, which previously stood in Chopin square. The monument, which has eleven relief figures and a chamfered top symbolising a burning flame, was uncovered on 22 July 1963.
