Museum of Wickerworking and Hop Growing is a unique place of major cultural significance, and the only one of its kind, both in Poland and in the world. The museum in Nowy Tomyśl was created in May 1985 as a branch of the National Museum of Agriculture in Szreniawa. It is located in the Culture and Leisure Park, with the exhibitions on wicker and hops displayed in a reconstructed historic cottage of an Olęder (a common name for people of either Dutch or German origin) settler. Outside the cottage, there is an exhibition of wicker works of art.
