“Buczyna Łagowska” nature reserve

The nature reserve was established in 1968 to protect the natural and scientific values of a natural beech forest. The tree stand growing on more than 116 hectares of moraine heights is aged 130 years on average. In the immediate vicinity of the nature reserve you can find the tallest height in the Lubusz Lake District - Bukowiec (227 m above mean sea level). The nature reserve is a part of the Łagów-Sulęcin Landscape Park, supervised by the Forest Inspectorate of Świebodzin.
