The plaque was installed in 1990 to the right of the main entrance to St Nicholas of Myra church by the local chapter of the Association of Siberian Exiles (known in Polish as “Sybiracy”). The plaque was funded on the anniversary of the resettlement of Poles to Siberia, as the inscription informs: “Association of the Siberian Exiles / Gorzów Wielkopolski Voivodeship / 10 February 1940 / 10 February 1990 / 50th anniversary of mass resettlement of Poles to Siberia”.
