A filial church of the parish of St John the Baptist parish in Lubrza, belonging to the Deanery of Świebodzin. Built in 1832 as a filial church of the Protestant Community in Lubrza, the brick-filled frame temple was remodelled as early as mid-19th century, adding a Gothic Revival steeple, rebuilding the southern wall and changing the interiors. Most of the furnishings date back to the construction of the church, with the exception of the wooden font from 1757 which originated from the first temple (built in the 13th or 14th century and demolished at an unspecified point in time). In 1945, the church was converted into a Roman Catholic temple.
