The railway bridge in Stany was built in 1905, with two-storey Gothic Revival watchtowers built at both ends of the 642 m long structure. The bridge was destroyed in 1945 by the retreating German army and renovated in 1955, but the watchtowers were dismantled. The bridge was used until mid-1990s. In recent years, efforts have been made to use it for tourism purposes, but so far, without success.
