Palace Park

Address Pomietów, 73-115 Dolice, Pomietów
In Pomietów some elements of the park and palace complex have remained. The elements of the palace and farm buildings that can be still admired are only the ruins of two buildings by the palace and the manor forge. At that time a whole complex of similar twins for workers was built. The palace park was founded in the 2nd half of the 19th century on the area of 0.5 ha. Today its tree stand includes old species that form lime tree and chestnut lanes or grow alone. Beside the already mentioned oak tree of 5.2 m in perimeter that grows in the garden, there is also another oak tree of 4.9 m in perimeter and some smaller ones of 2.75 m up to 3.4 m in perimeter. A rare species is a pyramidal oak of 1.9 m in perimeter, similar to Italian poplar, small-leaved lime trees of 3.3 m up to 4.4 m in perimeter and white chestnut (the biggest is 4.4 m in perimeter). Additionally, a unique ginkgo biloba of 1.7 m in perimeter is worth mentioning.
