The village of Wierzbnica is located north of Myślibórz and east of the national road DK23. Opposite the village, west of the road, rises the Wierzbnica Hill (Polish: Wierzbnicka Góra), covered from top to bottom with Wierzbnica Forest (Polish: Wierzbnicki Lasek). Just off the road there is a neglected historic Protestant cemetery, separated from the road with a wall. There is a shooting range cut into the hill, and part of the forest has been felled to make a football pitch. A number of paths were also created, turning Wierzbnica Hill into a naturalistic park.
