According to the Jewish religion, cemeteries must be built outside the city walls. That principle applied to Boleszkowice which had had a town charter until 1972. The cemetery in Boleszkowice is located more than 1 km south-west of the town centre, in the middle of a forest, and can be accessed by a 50-m long path.
