Founded in 2003 by the Zielona Góra chapter of Liga Ochrony Przyrody (Nature Protection League), the museum organises various environmental education activities, focusing on the biological and environmental aspects of the white stork population. There is an exhibition on the stork and the local environment. The museum also offers accommodation. There is also an observation tower nearby with a view of the stork village. The museum building is also the office of the Krzesin Landscape Park. Note: Due to organisational changes, in 2018 the Museum and the hostel are closed. The exhibition can be visited during the working hours of the Krzesin Landscape Park.
