Municipal and District Public Library
The library was created with the effort of the local community. The idea of the library was first conceived in 1959 and on 6 November 1965, the ceremonial opening of a new public library took place. The two-storey building, with the usable space of 692 square metres, included two libraries, a reading room for children and adults, a magazines reading room, storage rooms for non-book publications, and warehouses. Currently, the building hosts library units for both adult readers and children and youth, a general reading room, and a centre for regional studies. The library has five branches.
