It is estimated that the bunkers were built some time around 1938. During World War II, the bunkers probably served as the seat of the German Military Radio in Breslau, but their original purpose was never clearly identified. According to one of the hypotheses, the bunkers were an element of Alfred Nobel DAG ordnance factory in Krzystkowice. The bunkers were built in the shape of concrete cylinders with a diameter of 20 m, more than 15 m high. Today, the facility is a tourist attraction.
