The palace, which has survived to this day, was remodelled from a structure most likely originating from the 17th Century. The park has two ponds and a mausoleum of the House of Hohenzollern who purchased the palace in 1888. Aside from its historical value, the palace in Gryżyn is a very romantic place. There is also an oak avenue nearby, planted in the 19th Century by the local chief forester, Georg Krause.
