Peat moor

The peat moor of Guzów covers the area of 92.4 ha. It was formed as a result of filling a water reservoir with peat. There are about 150 species of plants in this area, for example, cross-leaved heath under strict protection. There are also three species of sundew - round-leaved, English and oblong-leaved sundew. Other precious species are common cotton grass, white beak-sedge, nymphaea candida, greater spearwort, saw sedge, lesser butterfly-orchid and early marsh-orchid.
