Boulder commemorating the repelled Cossack attack

The monument marks the site where, on 14 February 1813, a squadron of the Polish Chevau-légers serving in Napoleon’s army repelled the attack of the Cossacks from the Russian imperial army. In 2006, the honorary consul of France uncovered the commemorative boulder and plaque with inscriptions in Polish and French.
