Places

Lake Głębokie is a small glacial lake located around 5 km north of Międzyrzecz. Its area is 120 hectares and average depth is 9 metres, although in some places it can be as deep as 25 metres. The lake is surrounded by coniferous woods and the shores are overgrown with vegetation. On the eastern shore, you can find a beach and a pier, and also recreational centres, a campsite and a number of bars. There are water equipment rental shops and a diving centre at the lake.
