The tunnel-valley lake is located 3 km to the east from Ołobok. The lake runs in a narrow, winding band from Łąkie towards Lubogóra. Its area is 50 hectares and average depth is 2.5 m. Lake Niedźwiedno was formed during the Weichselian glaciation. The banks of the lake are steep, mostly hard-soiled cliffs. The lake was artificially dammed by an embankment with a sluice gate on the southern side. The terrain around the lake is hilly and covered with mixed woods (mainly pine and birch forests). There are also plenty of fishing sites on the banks of the lake.
