This Special Protection Area (NATURA 2000 area - Uroczyska Borów Dolnośląskich) is located at the headwaters of the Lubsza river and spreads between the villages of Lipsk Żarski, Drożków and Świbna. The most valuable local habitats include the alder and alder-ash riverine forests. Protected species inhabiting the area include European beaver, otter and Desmoulin’s whorl snail.
