The church in Dąbie was built around the middle of the 13th century and in the 16th century it was a Protestant church. The owners of the village and the residents changed the interior design of the church at that time to keep it more modest. During the Thirty Years' War the building was damaged and it was rebuilt in 1647. The nave was lowered by about 3 metres. Another thorough reconstruction took place in the 19th century and resulted in the current style of the church. Its interior was changed by the Catholics after 1945.
