The three-storey Renaissance Revival palace was built on the shore of Lake Niesłysz at the end of the 19th Century by the Castell family. The square towers crowned with battlements and other ornaments lend the palace the character of a castle. The proximity of coniferous and mixed forests has a beneficial effect on people suffering from upper respiratory diseases. Active leisure enthusiasts will enjoy the picturesque trails around the lake, perfect for hiking and cycling. The palace now serves as a rehabilitation and recreation centre managed by the National Health Fund.
