The village was created by combining two settlement villages of Carlshof and Blankenfelde. The first villagers came from Germany and the Netherlands. A manor and a palace were built in the settlement, as well as peasant homesteads and craftsmen workshops. Other developments included a mill, a church and a community room. After World War II, the manor was turned into a State Agricultural Enterprise (Polish: PGR).
