The beach at Lake Wielgie is located at the Welfare Centre in Dobiegniewo. The Mierzęcka Struga river, a tributary of the Drawa, flows through the lake. In recent years, the areas around the lake have been cleaned up. The shrubbery was removed, the ruined buildings were demolished and the area was put into order. A beach pier was also built with ladders and bitts for mooring water equipment. A beach volley court and children’s playgrounds were made, as well as numerous hiking and cycling trails around the lake.
