The half-timbered granary was built at the beginning of the 19th Century and expanded at the end of it. Built close to the river harbour on the Warta river, probably as a grains warehouse, the history of this half-timbered, 3-storey building remains largely unknown, since detailed documentation usually was not kept for utility buildings. The granary is currently unused but has been entered into the register of historic monuments.
