“Wyspa Konwaliowa” nature reserve on Lake Lubikowskie

Address 66-340 Przytoczna, Lubiatów
Located in the south-eastern part of Lake Lubikowskie, the nature reserve protects mature oaks and the related plant community, as well as the reeds which serve as the breeding grounds for local water birds. Species under strict protection include common ivy in its rare trailing form. The old oaks have trunks with circumferences reaching 400 cm. The island is frequently visited by wild boars, which are exceptionally good swimmers, and sea eagles which hunt here. The island owes its name - Lily–of-the-Valley Island - to the flowers growing on its central part which are under strict protection.
