Krzesin Landscape Park

The park is one of the most scenic places in Western Poland, protecting the vast floodplains which are home to numerous flora and fauna species (especially the local avian population) and a pine forest with mid-forest peat bogs and ponds. One of the most memorable places in the landscape park is the Krzesin-Bytom polder with the ruins of an old village called Szydłów (German: Schiedlo).
