“Klipa” nature conservation site
Established in 2009, the nature conservation site is located near the village of Kiełcze, 10 km from Świebodzin. The conservation site protects a midforest pond and the surrounding shrubbery and trees growing on the ruins of and old homestead. The local flora, including hawthorn, elder, common spindle and common pear, provides the perfect habitat for many species of small songbirds. In the western part of the pond, you can see the common bladderwort - a carnivorous plant under strict protection. The nature conservation area is endangered by littering and man-made structures, particularly by anglers.
