The filial church of Nativity of Mary in Gościmiec belongs to the parish of St John the Baptist in Zwierzyn and the Deanery of Strzelce Krajeńskie. Built in the second half of the 18th Century, the half-timbered church was expanded 5 years after completion, adding a steeple and replacing the thatch roof with tiles. At the beginning of the 20th Century, two walls were rebuilt as masonry walls, and at the end of the 20th Century, the church was completely remodelled. The original features were eliminated and the last half-timbered walls were replaced with brick. After World War II, the church was taken over by Roman Catholics and was consecrated in 1946.
