Babimost has a long tradition of playing the local variety of bagpipes, known as “kozioł” (buck). Many accomplished bagpipers and bagpipe builders hailed from this region. In the town centre, just off the main square at the bridge over the Gniła Obra river, a large square was built with a fountain and relief sculptures depicting the musical traditions of the town. The cache is hidden in the red cedar next to the bagpiper’s figure.
