Built in the second half of the 14th century, the building was first remodelled in 1502 and then in the years 1671-72 in Renaissance style. Destroyed in 1945, it was rebuilt in the years 1976-86. Currently, the town hall is the seat of municipal cultural and educational institutions, the Registry Office and a restaurant.
