Starzyc Lake

Address 73-120 Chociwel
The flowering rush grows in shallow waters and can blossom from June (depending on the weather) all the way to September. It is frequently planted in garden ponds and water holes. It was also brought to North America where it grew out of control and is now a bothersome weed overgrowing shallow water reservoirs. Poland is its natural habitat so it does not pose any threat here. The flowering rush is a nectar source and the oldest mentions of it have been found in the Bible.
