The current form of the town square in Lwówek dates back to the first half of the 19th century. Among the characteristic features of the town square are the radial arrangement of the cobblestones and the clock tower, built in 1947 on the site of the old tower, which had been destroyed by the Germans, with the original clock mechanism. There are four manual water pumps in the four corners of the town square, which has eight street lamps. The cache is hidden around one of them.
