The complex consists of two mansions and a park. The first mansion was probably built in the 16th century for the von Dyherrn (Dyhrn) family, while the second one was erected at the turn of the 17th and 18th century, and connected to the first mansion. The mansion complex was owned by the von Kottwitz family, but in mid-18th century went to Friedrich von Schönaich-Carolath. In 1841, the mansion complex was purchased by Karl Heinrich Germershausen and then by Duchess Acerenza Pignatelli. Around 1860, the complex was bought by the family of Count von Rothenburg which owned it until 1930.
