On the outskirts of Kołowo, atop a hill named Vixen (Polish: Lisica) at 140 m above mean sea level, two broadcasting towers were erected. The higher one is 267 m high, so its top is located at 407 m above mean sea level. Aside from their primary function, the towers have become an integral element of the landscape of the Beech Hills (Polish: Wzgórza Bukowe). Clearly visible even from 20 km away on a clear day, they serve as a perfect orientation point.
