The nature monument known as the Lime Tree of Peace (Polish: Lipa Pokoju) is a tall tree with 155 cm in circumference. It was planted in 1871 to commemorate the end of the French-Prussian War. You can still see the remains of the stone wall that used to guard the tree. As of 2019, the tree’s age is around 150 years and its circumference indicates that it grows by around 1 cm per year.
