The palace was built at the beginning of the 20th century, replacing the 18th-century palace and park complex. After World War II, the building was taken over by the State Centre for Pedigree Breeding. Neglected for many years, it eventually fell into ruin. Purchased in 2007 by a private individual, it has been adapted for a hotel and is gradually renovated.
