Since 2002, on every third Saturday in June, Budachów hosts one of the largest regional events promoting a local product - The Budachów Pierogi Festival. Known across the voivodeship and beyond, the pierogis of Budachów, cooked by the local housewives’ club according to a traditional local recipe, are immensely popular, with around 30 thousand consumed during each edition of the festival, and are widely known not only in Poland, but also abroad.
