Since 2002, on every third Saturday in June, Budachów hosts one of the largest regional events promoting a local product - The Budachów Pierogi Festival. Known across the voivodeship and beyond, the pierogis of Budachów, cooked by the local housewives’ club according to a traditional local recipe, are immensely popular, with around 30 thousand consumed during each edition of the festival, and are widely known not only in Poland, but also abroad. Look for the cache under the table on which the dough was made.
