Jan Herda’s three sculptures

Address Bulwar św. Jana Pawła II, 66-600 Krosno Odrzańskie
The Oder river which flows through Krosno Odrzańskie, is one of the main inland waterways in Poland. Thanks to the continuously improving infrastructure, this great river is becoming a major tourist destination. On the river bank, there is a harbour which, together with the Piast Castle and the John Paul II promenade, forms the harbour and castle complex. In the harbour, you can see three figures sculpted by Jan Herda, depicting St Hedwig, King Bolesław the Brave and Duke Henry the Bearded. Look for the cache at the feet of the only woman in the trio.
