The trail to "Święta Góra" leads mostly through forests within three villages of the Myślibórz poviat, Chłopowo, Rościna and Różańska. Chłopowo and Rościn belong to the Myślibórz commune, and Różańsko to the Dębno commune. The border of two geographical mesoregions also ran between these towns. The area of Różańska belongs to the Gorzów Plain, while Rościn and Chłopowo belong to the Myślibórz Lake District. This is clearly noticeable in the landscape, the areas of Chłopowo and Rościn are more diverse, heavily sculpted by processes related to the Scandinavian glacier, which retreated slightly more than 12,000 years ago. The glacier left many hills and valleys, and in some places erratic boulders. The areas through which the trail runs have been inhabited by people for millennia. Representatives of the Lusatian culture 3000 years ago buried their dead in burial mounds made of stones. Here, in the first centuries of our era, the Burgundians marked their presence, building a tomb of stones for the West Burgundian princess on the Holy Mountain (in Różansk, 3 km north of the village center). From large stones, the Slavs built stone and earth defensive embankments, structures over 300 meters long (between Rościn and Chłopowo, 5 km north of Różańsk). These are not the only places of this rank, they are found in various places along the route. Everything is accompanied by beautiful landscapes, you can meet many protected plants and animals.
