Saint Thérèse of the Child Jesus Church

The village of Koszewko grew around the Slavic settlement which in the 9th and 10th Century overlooked the valley of the prehistoric lake which is today known as Lake Miedwie. After the Cistercian monks have been brought to Kołbacz, the ownership of the village was given to the abbey. Later, the village became the property of the Bishops of Kamień Pomorski who leased the estate. It is unknown whether there was a church here already in the 13th Century. What is know is that the current temple was built in the 15th Century. In the first half of the 18th Century, the church underwent expansion and remodelling in Baroque style.
