The construction of the palace in Osiek began at the end of the 17th century but was not completed until the end of the 19th century. The oldest parts of the building are the cellars and some sections of the walls. In the 1960s, a general renovation was commenced, with the intention of turning the palace into a hotel. However, the works were eventually abandoned and the neglected palace has been gradually falling into ruin ever since.
