Going west of Borowska beach towards the heart of the peninsula, you will see a high, wooded hill with one of the largest and best preserved prehistoric settlements in Lubusz Land. The oval diameters are 300 x 150 m. The first banks of the settlement were made by the Slavs as early as in the 7th and 8th Century. The fortifications allowed the first settlers to control the surrounding area. The archaeological digs uncovered charred layers, arrowheads, the remains of defensive fortifications and household appliances.
