St Michael the Archangel Church
Located in the north-eastern corner of the town square, the church was built in the second half of the 15th Century as a hall church with three naves and a pentagonal chancel. In 1541, after the town had been ravaged by fire, the parish church was expanded, adding a fourth nave to the north and a row of chapels and a matroneum to the south. The naves were covered with a spectacular network vault, while the chapels were covered with a stellar and diamond vault. In the 19th Century, the church was remodelled in Gothic Revival style, adding a church porch and a spectacular gable on the frontal façade. Inside the church, you can see the preserved Late Gothic triptych of St Anna, and a group sculpture of Crucifixion. On the side altar, there is a beautiful rococo figure of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
