Mansion and palace
Address |
Lubinicko 26, 66-200 Świebodzin, Lubinicko |
The mansion was built around 1800 as a Classicist, single-storey building on a rectangular plan and habitable attic. In 1886, a Renaissance Revival single-storey palace was added, with two intricately decorated steeples crowned with onion-shaped tents. The park was established at the same time. Many elements of the original furnishing of the palace have survived, including the Renaissance Revival painted decorations of the ceilings, the sculpted stairs and boiseries, chimney casings, and window joinery with stained-glass panes. The preserved furniture include a six-door wardrobe decorated with the paintings of two armed knights, the coat of arms and the view of the Lubiniec palace.
Inside the mansion, you can see an ornate ceramic stove, and an originally furnished bathroom with historic tiles and the bathtub placed in a special niche. After World War II, the mansion and the palace served as the offices of the State Agricultural Farm. In 1990, the complex was taken over by the Agricultural Property Agency.
